The Blood Glucose Monitoring Device is a compact, battery-powered instrument designed to measure blood glucose levels from a small blood sample using compatible test strips. It combines an electrochemical sensor strip interface with a digital display so a reading can be captured and viewed within seconds.
The device works by drawing a small blood sample into the reactive area of an inserted test strip. An electrochemical reaction between the sample and the strip's reagent layer generates a small electrical signal, which the device's internal circuitry converts into a numeric reading displayed in mg/dL on the built-in screen.
Each unit ships with the meter itself, a carrying case, and a printed instruction manual. Compatible test strips are sold separately as the Blood Glucose Test Strip Refill Pack, or bundled together above under Device + Strip Options and Multi-Device Selections.

How It Works
Prepare the device
Turn on the meter and insert a compatible test strip into the strip port until it clicks into place.
Prepare the sample site
Clean the fingertip sample site as directed in the manual, then use the included lancing device to obtain a small blood sample.
Apply the sample
Touch the sample to the absorbent edge of the test strip. The device draws in the sample automatically.
Read the display
Within seconds, the meter's digital display shows a numeric reading in mg/dL for you to note or record.
